The Anglican Church in The Hague

Safeguarding

Our church places an important emphasis on safeguarding. The Diocese in Europe, of which this church is a member, promotes “Safe Churches” as part of its commitment to the Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults. All clergy and Readers have Safeguarding training and need record check clearance certificates as a normal part of their ministry. Lay volunteers (including Creche, Junior Church and Youth volunteers) are being encouraged to go through the process to ensure that our congregation is a safe place for young and vulnerable people to visit. The details of our Safeguarding policy can be found in our Chaplaincy Safeguarding Protocol.
